Pros and cons of French by Nemo app for iPhone and iPad

French by Nemo app good for

Quite good app, but some more words would be great, or pictures of the meaning of some of them would be better. When you hear two languages it makes you feel that all French people knows English. But its not like that. So I recommend you to switch the meaning from English words to pictures or smth. That is really hard, especially when app pronounces it. Thank you!

Easy to use. It supplements other learning approaches very well.

Easiest way to learn a language new to you. Ive been wanting to learn french for a while now and this app may just be my ticket.

It is simple and feels as a game. It is my favorite pass time on my daily commute. It teaches every day a little and there is a fully automatic mode when there is no need to press anything. Very convenient for car driving. I did not figure out though how to prevent screen of turning off in this mode. It seems to unable to stay always on like for example Spotify app. Narrative is displayed on my car lcd monitor as they Bluetooth connected but it would be nice if iPhone screen did not get dark as it gives a better view.

It just doesnt get any easier than this. Great user options to custom the experience.

I learned French in 5 months with this app and weekly French teacher, very good app to use to learn French and impress your friends! I highly recommend it!

Some bad moments

When you upgrade to get the full version it doesnt include all the numbers. It only has to 6.

Probably fine for beginners but doesnt move fast enough and I cant seem to easily skip things to get to more advanced stuff

I downloaded 10+ apps for learning french and this is the only one I kept. Its easy and fun! The recording works so well. You will learn the essential phrases for travel and to have a small conversation!

Ive only just started to use the app, and Ive already learned a few words. Its fun to see how how much I can learn. They really have set it up to be at your own pace which is really good.
